About Art Westphal

Art Westphal is the Vice President of Advancement at Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato, Minnesota. Westphal has served in this position for the past 11 years. Prior to his work in advancement, Westphal was the athletic director for the College. Under Westphal’s direction, Bethany recently completed a 30 million dollar capital campaign. The Faithful Future Campaign raised vital funds for facilities, scholarships, and other programs at Bethany. In addition to the campaign, Westphal has helped the College to significantly increase endowed scholarships to the current number of 204. These endowed scholarships provide essential financial aid for hundreds of Bethany students. Bethany has also benefited from a steady increase in deferred gifts during the past decade. Westphal, and his wife Terri, are parents to three grown children and enjoy time with their five grandchildren.
