Collaboration in Ministry--The Story of the Stoney Creek Five & Lessons Learned
“Share Groups” are commonly used in many American businesses to promote new ideas and discuss challenges within a particular industry. In December of 2011, the Antioch Foundation hosted a gathering of five ministries to form such a unique share group - one focused on sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The primary objectives of the group were:
- Discuss successful initiatives and techniques.
- Explain challenges and seek input on solutions.
- Explore recent advances in such areas as technology and development work.
- Seek opportunities for collaboration between ministries.
Over the past three years, the group has worked to achieve those objectives and the result is the Christian Leadership Experience. We hope and pray this “experiment” will bear fruit long into the future of our church and its ministries!
