"The Heart of Christian Leadership”
What is at the heart of successful leadership? It’s the heart of the Christian leader. Where there is a healthy heart (spiritually) there is the ability to manage the joys and the challenges we experience as leaders. So, how to we get this healthy heart? The better question is where do we get it? It isn’t found in a list of seven practical things we should do as leaders. Rather it’s found in God’s grace. The better we understand God’s grace and how he has poured that into our hearts and lives, the better we will understand our God-given role as leaders, and the better equipped we will be to serve him as Christian leaders. For the Heart of Christian Leadership is found in God’s enduring and unending grace.
Pastor Gabb has been in parish ministry for sixteen years, currently serving at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (Beverly Hills, FL) where they have a school and senior living community (Kingsway).
