"Getting Outreach Started (Corporate)

Every  congregation  has the  tools to  get  outreach  started  in  their  setting  or  take  it  to the next level.  This workshop will explore the motivation for outreach as well as what that can look like in a congregation.  We’ll hear the story of a church in the Midwest who, by God’s grace and blessing, went from no outreach team to having a structure with over ten coordinators and hundreds of volunteers in ten years.  We’ll look at ideas for  how  to  recruit  volunteers,  as  well  as  how  to  structure  and  prioritize  outreach endeavors.

"Getting the Conversation Started (Personal)"

It's easy to talk about things such as weather and sports. But talk Jesus?  In this workshop we will prepare ourselves for approaching people and broaching the subject of Jesus. We will discuss ideas for getting a conversation started with an unchurched person and turning it into a conversation about Jesus. Drinking in God’s promises will give us the confidence to start spiritual conversations and keep them going.
